It was explained that my insurance would no longer cover parts cost or Rental cost of CPAP through November, 2020. I was not told I would begin receiving a monthly rental charge of $55.00 per month for use of CPAP use.

I am currently unemployed and cannot afford the continued use of the equipment if At Home Health Equipment has decided to seek rental charges for what was originally represented as “No Charge Rental”. I challenge the accusation that the equipment is not being utilized at the required levels. On the other hand, I see At Home Health Equipment actions as a blatant violation of fair trade laws specifically the engagement of Bait and Switch. This activity is arbitrarily electing to represent a business arrangement, and after the initial acquisition on November 4th, 2019 of the represented CPAP equipment offering changing to an arrangement that financially benefits them more significantly! I do not agree with this action taken by At Home Health Equipment, and I’m copying this letter to the Better Business Bureau, Healthcare provider, as well as my Insurance provider. I have been utilizing this equipment on a regular and consistent basis since originally obtaining despite At Home Health Equipment’s claim!!
